Oceans & Wind

The ocean and wind interact closely, with wind driving surface currents and triggering phenomena like upwelling. Ocean currents, in turn, influence wind patterns by affecting atmospheric pressure.

This interplay profoundly shapes global climate, weather, and marine ecosystems, highlighting their essential connection in Earth's dynamic system.

Urban Cities, like Singapore experiences only low-wind speed (from 1.5 m/s to 4.5m/s). With high land cost, and moderate sunlight, Singapore is declared a green-energy disadvantaged nation making its aim to achieve net-zero targets in the next 20-30 years a very difficult one. Voltreon Energy is designed to help urban centres harness all the wind-energy that is available (complementing with Solar and other renewable-solutions). Voltreon Energy is a multi-directional vertical-axis wind turbine that can be designed in several configurations to work in tight space where it can capitalise on height-of-space (rather than just the Floor-area in PV-solutions)

Huawei HQ, Frankfurt, 2017

Huawei approached us and made it very clear from the start that their new European headquarters had to be both stylish and unconventional, while still keeping true to their Asian heritage. Together with the client’s in-house consultants and our resident architects we were able to complete this project within the estimated time frame.

Rhein-Main Conference Centre, Wiesbaden, 2019

The city of Wiesbaden commissioned us to revamp a piece of commercially available but awkwardly shaped land in downtown Wiesbaden to a new conference center. The main requirement for the space was to be modern but flexible so that it could cater to as many different fields as possible.

Danske Bank Offices, Hamburg, 2020

Our most recent project for Danske Bank was finished months in advance. The bank wanted to establish their German presence in a nonchalant way, while injecting a fresh air of Scandinavian design and color to the surrounding environment. One of the top features of this project remains the intricate main reception hall, with its glass ceiling.
